Our Most Challenging Job (Yet)

Over the last 40 years, we have encountered a few large projects that gave us a run for our money. But as we complete 500 to 600 projects per year, it's tough to choose one project that stands out from the rest - or so we thought. 

Our Most Challenging Job So Far 

Not too long ago, our professionals were working on a custom-built home located in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The owners comprised of an artist and an architect. Their custom home was very modern, with exterior stained cedar plank siding.  

With the ever-changing weather patterns in Michigan, it's challenging to keep up with cedar plank siding. So the owners picked up the phone, and we came out to inspect the home. They wanted to re-stain their siding, so we gave them an estimated timeframe and got started on the job. 

What was supposed to be a four to five-day job ended up being a two-week job due to some problems we ran into. Upon further inspection of the outside plank siding, we noticed severe rotting and insolation that was eaten up by your common everyday critters. 

We haltered our efforts and immediately contacted the owners. Our team showed the owners the problems they had found and decided to draw up another estimate with a new timeframe. The owners chose to remain with us to see the job through. We worked hard for two weeks, completed the project, restored the rotten portions and the insolation.
