Somerset Painting and Home Improvement's purpose is to provide the homeowners and business owners of the Detroit area with the highest quality renovation services around! We love helping improve our community! We also love helping the world with our charitable giving. 

We want to first ask you to watch Rick's video on our About Us page. Rick has been an owner of Somerset Painting for the last 37 years or so, and each year he has worked to ensure that he can become a part of making our world a better place.

Our Daughter International

Rick is a passionate and giving person, devoting his time and money to fight sex trafficking around the world, but specifically in Nepal. 

We donate to many charities but especially to Our Daughters International, an organization that provides homes for girls and young women in Nepal who are highly at risk for trafficking.
They have posts in India and Nepal that protect these young women from trafficking, but they also provide job skill training to them, so the women that they rescue are able to provide for themselves and not be at risk of falling back into those same dangers.

A portion of our profit at the end of every job gets donated back to our Daughters International and some other organizations that we support. And it's not something that we charge our customers more for; it is from our profit!
